This is what visiting a brothel must be like.

A small fee gets you into a musky room with creatures who are asleep or otherwise indifferent to your presence and a dozen punters like yourself angling for some animal affection. After a few indiscriminate overtures (you have your superficial preferences but they quickly become irrelevant -- this is harder-going than you had anticipated and you'll take whatever you can get) a kitty comes over to cuddle for a little while, and then you leave.
