Help wanted, inquire within:
"The Underwood International College of Yonsei University invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature to teach at the International campus in Songdo, Incheon, located within the greater Seoul metropolitan region. The specialization is open, but the ideal candidate should be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: postcolonial studies, world literature, Renaissance and Baroque literatures, or critical theory. Applicants must have strong research credentials and a firm commitment to liberal arts undergraduate education.
Teaching responsibilities are 6 credit-hours (2 classes) per semester. The preferred starting date is March 2012. Compensation includes competitive salary, health insurance and other benefits, fully-subsidized housing (for up to 6 years), and a generous relocation and start-up package.
Yonsei University's Underwood International College is a highly competitive program at South Korea's most prestigious private university, and combines the intimate atmosphere and low student-faculty ratio of a liberal arts college with the resources of a major research university. All instruction is in English, and the student body represents over 25 different countries. As part of Yonsei University’s continuing effort to increase faculty diversity, we are only accepting applications from non-Korean citizens.
Interested applicants should send a short letter of application, a statement of teaching philosophy, dissertation abstract, and c.v. by email: (uic@yonsei.ac.kr). Review of applications will take place from September 30, 2011. Short-listed candidates will be asked to submit 3 letters of recommendation, a writing sample, sample syllabi, and teaching evaluations. For additional information, please contact Prof. Helen Lee (helenlee@yonsei.ac.kr). Prospective applicants are also encouraged to look at our website at http://uic.yonsei.ac.kr."

my office
I'm teaching on a partially constructed campus in the lush Incheon countryside. This is what the completed campus will look like, according to my key card:
The glass box in the center is a very lovely study lounge and library. The buildings adjacent to it have been built. All the rest is imagination.
spartan, but it's all mine
look, a sink

Cat café
This is what visiting a brothel must be like.
A small fee gets you into a musky room with creatures who are asleep or otherwise indifferent to your presence and a dozen punters like yourself angling for some animal affection. After a few indiscriminate overtures (you have your superficial preferences but they quickly become irrelevant -- this is harder-going than you had anticipated and you'll take whatever you can get) a kitty comes over to cuddle for a little while, and then you leave.
