Peppero Day

Every year, on November 11 (11.11), Koreans present each other with boxes of Peppero, the Korean answer to Pocky. These are homemade versions that my TA gave to Marc and me:

Mom's canonization

The Archbishop named Mom a lay canon and we flew back for the weekend to attend the ceremony. She was the first Hong Kong woman to receive the honor!

Spicy octopus

This restaurant is right across from our apartment. I think this dish is the only thing they serve. It's pretty great.
